French culture & Finished books

Okay. Guess what. I’m in school! I skipped class and picked the lock of the principal’s office. I got in and stole her laptop, and now I’m sitting in a bathroom stall trying to type quietly so I don’t get caught. You’d better appreciate this post after everything I did to write it. Sike! All I really did was finish my French work, so now I have free time in the computer lab (lab A to be exact – be jealous Ashley).

I started the book Cut today and finished in fourth period, so now I’m book-less and the only work of fiction in my locker is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Rawr! Anyone want to send me a book?

…Bored.

Anyway (larlyal – Ash), I am not hungry even though lunch is my next period, though I wouldn’t protest to some cheese fries. Yum. Oh! Two minutes left of class; I need to pack up!

Worms, dirt, & plastic

Today is Earth Day! I wore my “Captain Planet” t-shirt to school (does anyone remember that show?), made posters promoting the Earth, and severed a worm. Well, technically me lab partner severed it, but I was there. Just looking at the thing made me sick and I stood by the window for half the class to prevent myself from passing out. I ran out the door as soon as the bell rang, and put as much distance between the dead worms (they were huge!) and myself. The farther, the better.

Turn out lights, use less water, and recycle. Happy Earth Day!

The Only Consistency in Life is Change

Life changes every moment of every day. It may seem as though summer break will never come, and life drags on forever, and the car ride to Florida feels more like years than days, but look back for a moment. It went fast, didn’t it? Life. It was given to you in a single moment (hopefully, labor for hours sounds painful), and it can be snatched away just as quickly. So, in honor of life, I would appreciate it if you answered the following questions.

Where do you think you will be in 10 years?

Hm… mid-twenties, that’ll be fun. I guess I’ll be in college, or a recent graduate, working as a shrink, or doing something artsy. Apartment or a small house. I’ll probably be on serious meds and I’ll be the weird phsyco who lives on the thirteenth floor of some fancy hotel. Or maybe I’ll be a famous photographer who travels Europe for inspiration. London, Paris, Greece, Rome.

Where will you be/what will you be doing when you turn 80?

Dead. D-E-D, dead. Nah, I’ll be at some crazy party that my extremely large family will have thrown for me (yes, they will still be alive; all of them). My brother will be a retired 85-year-old writer who made his fortune on one book even though he wrote thousands, and he’ll be in front of some high-tech microphone that is the size of a pea (because technology will be that good) and he’ll babble on about nothing and it will still make sense. I can hear him now: “Eighty years old. Wow. Remember when we were young and we joked that Grandma would live as long as we didn’t practice religion? I didn’t really believe that, but you did. And you were right! Isn’t that right Grandma?” She’ll be in the crowd, completely healthy (at the young age of 145) waving to the wall or something. Yeah, that’s my life when I turn 80.

How do you think you will die?

Morbid much? That’s an easy one though. Hit by bus.

Actually, it is evening (8:09 to be exact), but that is beside the point. The main purpose of this post is to welcome you to my blog. This post is all short and boring, but the others will be better, i promise.

P.s.- I know saftey is spelled wrong.
